Design of a hardware convolutional encoder

Designed, synthesized and tested, in VHDL language, an hardware component for computing the Convolutional code (a type of error-correcting code widely adopted in mobile and satellite communications) over a byte stream. Vivado Design Suite was used throughout all the phases of the project.
